Coach Eva Hagerman

Eva Hagerman

I started my pickleball journey in 2019, learning and playing in a church gym. I began as a student of the game, learning from some amazing players and pros and growing into an avid tournament player.
Wanting more pickleball options for our community. I helped found the Sumner Valley Pickleball Club, where I have continued to be a leader for the last 3 years. Finding joy in sharing my knowledge and passion for pickleball, I began coaching at the YMCA and giving private and group lessons and now I'm over the moon to be coaching at PPRC!

Coach Mike Williams

Mike Williams

I'm Mike Williams, a retired high school PE teacher and coach with a lifelong passion for helping others grow through sport. I've been teaching pickleball since the 1980s and officially instructing since 2017, logging more than 3,500 hours with students ranging in age from 7 to 85. Over the years, I've had the privilege of coaching hundreds of players across Washington, Oregon, California, Arizona, and Hawaii. My philosophy is simple: good instruction comes from years of experience, trial and error, and finding better ways to connect with each student. While I don't play tournaments or chase ratings, I love teaching the game, sharing my knowledge, and enjoying great rallies with friends.

Coach Jase Veltkamp

Jase Veltkamp

Jase is a Certified Personal Trainer (CPT) with nearly a decade of experience working with Teeter employees and private clients throughout the plateau to stay fit, strong, and energized. Now he's bringing his expertise to PPRC, where he'll be available for one-on-one personal training sessions in the gym. Jase's approach is all about keeping fitness fun and functional, with a focus on helping players feel their best both on and off the court. Keep an eye out for his group stretching and fitness classes designed to improve performance, prevent injury, and support your pickleball game!
